This week’s featured artist: Heather, creator of Twiddlestix

Tell us a little about yourself and your business:

My name is Heather, I am a (stay at home) mom to some really great kids! My Etsy shop is Twiddlestix, and I try to keep it filled with various handmade cards.

What made you get started in your business?:
I really like to receive handmade cards, and since I really enjoy making them, I decided to start up my Etsy shop! After a friendly “shouting match” trying to decide what my shop name should be, twiddlestix won! Just recently I have expanded and set up shop at ArtFire.

Anything else you’d like to share:
I am involved with the Etsy Greetings Team! I think it’s fun to be involved, although I cannot participate as much as I would like!

Tell us about your favorite item currently listed in your shop:
My favorite item in my shop would have to be this brag book :
I love the colors of it, and it was very fun to make!

om Twiddlestix: Twiddlestix’s gorgeous Wonderful Tree card would be the perfect card to have on hand. It’s blank on the inside and holiday non-specific, so it could easily work for birthdays, anniversaries, or a simple pick-me-up note to a friend. Oh, and did I mention that it is gorgeous? Heather I love the mix of the green leaf print with the simple black and white image and backdrop. The blue accents also work to set off the image nicely without being too much.
