Tell us a little about yourself and your business:

My name is Linda. I live in Blaine, MN (A suburb of Minneapolis.) I create handmade aprons that are “retro” inspired for both men and women.

What made you get started in your business?:

I started my shop because I’ve always had an interest in creating pretty things. Back in the 70’s & 80’s it was sewing costumes, macrame and crocheting. I often joke that starting my Etsy shop is my feeble attempt at a retirement account. I’ll never make a million $ entertaining the masses with my singing or acting so… Etsy is the best forum

Anything else you’d like to share:

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I’m donating 10% of the sales from my “PINK” section to the Susan G Komen for the Cure Foundation.

Tell us about your favorite item currently listed in your shop:

It always seems like the newest listed is my favorite but at the moment, I’d have to say my “Cupcake Craving” apron is still my favorite. There’s something about the print and the color combination of Brown and Pink that I really like.

My Favorite from Elsie’s Flat:

I love the aprons from Elsie’s Flat.  They’re both fun and practical.  My favorite is the Poppy Fields apron.  It offers full coverage, a great big pocket, and a cute, flouncy ruffle.  It is also part of the “PINK” collection, meaning that 10% of the cost will be donated to the Susan G Komen for the Cure Foundation.
